Global

Partners

The church supports nine partners across the world, all of whom once attended North Sub before being sent out into the world. Three of our partners are US based, and the remainder are spread across different regions of the world. For their safety, we don’t publish their identities or nations of service.

Short-Term Trips

North Sub regularly supports short-term missions experiences to different parts of the world, often to places where we have Global Partners who have been active for a number of years. In summer 2019, we sent an intergenerational team trip to the Czech Republic to support the Tills at Beskydy Mountain Academy. The trip included friendship evangelism with students of BMA and outreach to the community of Frydlant through evening English classes. This trip continued our church’s decade-long relationship with the Tills and BMA.

Scholarships

Through scholarships we are able to encourage and support qualifying students with financial help using the Richard A. Swanson Fund. The Swanson Fund was established in 1984 under the support and approval of the GO Team to assist students preparing for a career of missions service. The fund can also be used to support missionaries on furlough and for various one-time special needs. Over the past 32 years, North Suburban has awarded Swanson Scholarships to 31 people totaling over $60,000.
