Miranda George
Director of Kids Ministry
Miranda has an eclectic educational background. Originally from California, Miranda also spent many years of her childhood in Las Vegas, NV. There she graduated from a high school for the arts, where she focused on technical theater. She moved to Boston for college, graduating in 2011 from Northeastern University with a B.S. in Biology with a Minor in Religious Studies. Following that, she pursued a career in biomedical research until Jesus found her and disrupted her life for the (infinitely) better. She returned home to California, started following Jesus, and never looked back. In 2019, she moved to Illinois to attend Trinity Evangelical Divinity School. She started attending the Village Church of Lincolnshire and has been serving in youth and children’s ministry there for years. In 2025, she graduated from TEDS with a M.Div. Miranda loves the space where theological reflection meets ministry practice. She enjoys incorporating her creative and analytical skills from her varied education into ministry.
At Trinity, Miranda met her husband, Sam. They were married in 2020 at the VCL. They have one son, Ezra. All three of the George’s love helping out at church, exploring museums, and playing board games.
