CraftWorks
CraftWorks is open to all ladies of the church. It is about connecting with other women of all ages. Most us of have a project to work on but some just come to visit and that’s ok too. The time goes by quickly but if you can only come for part of it, that’s alright. Sometimes there are snacks but always talking, working, and laughter. We learn about each other while working on something from our own “to do” lists. And then we often end up praying for a need or two that came up in conversation before we head for home.
If you need an idea of what we bring to work on, these are some project ideas: knitting, crocheting, sewing, card making, pictures to sort, jewelry making or fixing, a pile of mail to go through, making a fairy garden, mosaic art, coloring, looking through magazines, painting nails, grading papers, and so much more. Basically anything you can bring with you.
The goal is to meet monthly and it’s usually the 4th Saturday of the month in the church café from 1-4pm. If you’d like, you can bring or buy a sandwich or something for lunch to eat together at 12:30.
