Rev. Craig Baldacci, DMIN Senior Pastor

The son of Italian-American parents, Rev. Dr. Craig Baldacci grew up in Chicago and Berwyn where his father was a police officer. While at home he attended a Roman Catholic Church and accepted Jesus as his Savior and Lord in college. Craig graduated from Eastern Illinois University with a B.A. in Political Science and a teaching Certificate in Secondary Education. Craig has coached football at Stevenson High School and St Viator High School where he also was a varsity assistant wrestling coach. He has a M. Div. from Garrett-Evangelical Theological Seminary with an emphasis on Pastoral Counseling, a Clinical Pastoral Education Certificate from the Chaplaincy program at Luther General Hospital, and a Doctor of Ministry Degree from Trinity Evangelical Theological Seminary. Craig served as Associate Pastor and then Senior Pastor at Long Grove Community Church for 31 years. During those years, he was part of a marriage ministry and married almost 4,000 couples and helped to lead hundreds of people back to God and the Church. In 2008 he joined the Southwest Pastor Cluster for Lake County Christ Together movement, serving on the leadership team from 2010 -2012.

At the end of 2011, Craig and his wife, Marsha, left Long Grove in a leap of faith, awaiting God’s new assignment – where God could “best leverage their gifts, talents, and experience for expanding the kingdom of God.” In May 2012, Craig and Marsha were thrilled and grateful to God when North Suburban Church called Craig to serve as their Senior Pastor.

Craig and Marsha were married in December 1981 and have two daughters, Andrea
and Carolyn. Andrea, their oldest, is married and the mother of 8 year old, Dominic. Craig’s favorite past-times are shooting skeet, trap, and sporting clays and also pistol target shooting. He likes to fish, play a game of golf occasionally, and do home remodeling projects.
